Centro Santa Marta welcomes Alejandro Bonilla to support donor relations, fundraising strategy, and long-term sustainability for our protection work in El Salvador.

In this role, Alejandro will support the Center’s fundraising strategy, donor relations, campaign development, and partnership-building efforts. His work will help strengthen the resources needed to keep Centro Santa Marta open for LGBTIQ+ youth and human rights defenders facing violence, displacement, and political risk in El Salvador.

Alejandro joins the team at a key moment as Centro Santa Marta expands its monthly giving campaign, “You Have the Key,” and continues building a more stable base of support for shelter, psychosocial care, accompaniment, and protection pathways.

His role will focus on connecting donors, allies, and campaign leaders with the concrete impact of the Center’s work: safe nights, daily care, emotional stabilization, and routes toward stability for people in crisis.
